Venezuela Update – 9th of September, 2021
Rorshok's weekly ten-minute update of stuff happening in Venezuela. The delegations of Nicolás Maduro and Juan Guaidó met in Mexico again for the second round of negotiations. Two agreements were reached - the first, to establish mechanisms to obtain resources and thus to address the effects caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in all areas; the second suggests that some of the sanctions on the Maduro government will be lifted, although which ones were not specified. Also this week, after ten years of prohibition, 30 casinos have been given the OK to reopen this week. Technology and Sesame Street come together to accompany Venezuelan migrants.
